The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), Natural Resources and Lands Management Division and Water Quality Division, are seeking to fill multiple Biologist positions in multiple disciplines including: bioassay, ecology, fisheries, marine biology, microbiology, parasitology, restoration and planning, and wildlife. Biologists with the SFPUC work in many locations and functions, including: in the field, watersheds, estuaries, streams, and rivers, on monitoring vessels in lakes, San Francisco Bay or the Pacific Ocean, in sensitive habitat areas, in laboratory or wastewater treatment plants, and at the SFPUC Headquarters. The SFPUC offers a very competitive salary and benefit package.

If you are interested in a job like this, we are looking for people that have the following: Possession of baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in environmental biology, marine biology, aquatic biology, wildlife biology, fisheries biology, limnology, aquatic toxicology, microbiology, biochemistry, or related science; and a valid driver’s license.
