The Department of Animal and Range Sciences (ANRS) at New Mexico State University (https://aces.nmsu.edu/academics/anrs/) is recruiting an Assistant/Associate Professor in Human and Natural Rangeland Systems with expertise in inclusion of human communities in scientific study of rangeland and natural resource management. This 9-month, tenure-track position includes research (70%) and teaching (30%) with involvement in efforts relevant to the state of New Mexico, as well as nationally and internationally. The successful candidate will develop an extramurally funded research program and teach undergraduate and graduate level courses within an area of expertise.
Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in fields that span natural and human science including but not limited environmental sociology, socio-ecology, human and natural system science, human ecology, rangeland ecosystem science,, or a closely related discipline.
