The Environmental Studies Program at Boston College seeks to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor and Acting Associate Director for a 2-year term position starting in fall 2021, with the possibility of reappointment to a non-renewable third year. The successful candidate will participate in teaching, student academic and research advising, and program administration activities. The teaching load is 10-12 credits (~4 courses) per year of undergraduate courses and seminars that would fit into the natural science curriculum of the major (See https://www.bc.edu/bc-web/schools/mcas/sites/envstudies/major.html). The Acting Associate Director will advise environmental studies majors, organize and participate in program events, and support the administration of the program.
