The College of Idaho’s Department of Biology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in biology with specialization in Botany, Plant Ecology, Plant Physiology or related areas to begin in August 2022.  Qualifications: completed doctoral degree in biology and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring in an undergraduate liberal arts setting.

Primary responsibilities include teaching lower division required courses in biology as well courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. The normal annual teaching load is 21 credits (2:1:2). The successful candidate will also be an active scholar interested in conducting collaborative research with undergraduate students. Research startup funds are available. The Harold M.
