Job Description

The Biological and Environmental Sciences Department at Wittenberg University seeks to hire a full-time, tenure-track faculty assistant professor beginning August 1, 2023.  Wittenberg is committed to attracting and retaining highly qualified individuals who collectively reflect the diversity of our student body and society at-large.  Teaching responsibilities include introductory and advanced courses in the area of Restoration Ecology and contributing to courses in the biological and environmental sciences programs at Wittenberg based on the candidate's expertise.  A desire to incorporate undergraduate students in research and an openness to community-based projects is welcomed.

Requirements

A Ph.D. in a biological or environmental related field is required; candidates that are ABD working toward Ph.D. completion will be considered.   Candidates must have a strong commitment and interest in teaching in the liberal arts and sciences context.
