About the positions:
Portland Parks & Recreation Urban Forestry is recruiting for multiple permanent and limited duration Botanic Specialist I and II – Forestry positions to join our Science, Outreach, and Planting workgroup. Join a growing team dedicated to the mission of preserving and expanding Portland’s urban forest infrastructure for current and future generations.
Some positions may be limited duration. Persons appointed to limited-term positions will be designated as limited-duration employees whose appointment shall not exceed two (2) years except for the extension of grants or funding from outside sources.
Positions described below are for openings in two Urban Forestry teams: the Science and Policy Team, and the Planting Team. Applicants will be able to select for which team(s) they wish to apply.
