Lead the Way: Forest Inventory and Analysis Crew Leader Role!

Key Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of a FIA Crew Member
  • Ensure safe working practices and foster productive team development
  • Administer performance ratings, assign work, and handle crew administrative tasks
  • Collaborate closely with USFS FIA liaisons to meet production and quality benchmarks
  • Lead annual training for the certification of CSFS FIA personnel

  • Travel in 4-wheel drive vehicles, UTVs, ATVs, and occasionally horses or boats

  • Work under the open sky, whether it’s in the sun, rain, or conquering snow-covered landscapes, all while experience the thrill of shifting temperatures.
