Key Leadership Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of a FIA Crew Member
- Ensure safe working practices and foster productive team development
- Administer performance ratings, assign work, and handle crew administrative tasks
- Collaborate closely with USFS FIA liaisons to meet production and quality benchmarks
- Lead annual training for the certification of CSFS FIA personnel

- Travel in 4-wheel drive vehicles, UTVs, ATVs, and occasionally horses or boats

- Work under the open sky, whether it’s in the sun, rain, or conquering snow-covered landscapes, all while experience the thrill of shifting temperatures.
- Assist in forest management, outreach, and administration when not in the field
