The Department of Plant & Environmental Sciences at NMSU is searching for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Forest Ecophysiology. Position will be located at the John T, Harrington Forestry Research Center located in Mora, NM. This is a 12 month tenure track position with a split appointment of research and teaching. Ph.D. (awarded by hire date) in forest ecophysiology, forest science, or related fields. The incumbent will develop a research program focused on plant physiological responses to environmental stressors in the context of the reforestation pipeline (i.e., seed selection and genetics, plant production, silvicultural planting practices, and/or monitoring protocols.
